Moonlight Madness

Actually called the Moonlight Classic, it is a 15 mile bike race sponsored by Kaiser Permanente to "raise" money for Seniors who wish to remain living independently. One whould hope that  health insurance company would do this anyway but I suppose it is more fun to bike around town at midnight.

Sacha, Jacob and I did the race unofficially but we had fun.

Michael Moore was in Denver Sunday, June 24, 2007 for a Heath Care Rally (to bring coverage for all of Colorado) and to speak about his new movie SiCKO that examines the HMO and health care system in the US. He also held a press conference, attended a private screening and Q&A session held for health care professionals and other non-profit workers.

It was amazing!

I visited my co-worker's beautiful mountain home and was swept away with the amazing postcard view from her front window. In fact, there isn't a bad view in the house. The only downside -the long winding drive up the mountain in the winter. Is it worth it?

First Day in Denver

I'm traveling to Denver, where I'll be staying for a month. I left New York City where it was 73 degrees the day before, and we all know what has been going on in Denver in the last few weeks...SNOW!

SF Days Inn

My co-worker Betty Yu and I spent the night in SF and were very surprised by the quality of our acccomodations. Who knew that the "Theater District" in SF would be so different compared to NYC.
